HOW IT ALL STARTED...
By Faith...
After serving the Lord in Michigan, Pastor Bill Bagley brought his family across the country to move to Utah for the purpose of planting a Bible-teaching, Gospel-believing Church in the heart of Utah County. Back in 1988, the number of evangelical churches was quite minimal (by God’s grace, the number has increased), and the thought of planting a Church in this unique culture seemed daunting.
By faith, in the summer of 1988, Fellowship Bible Church was officially launched and began Bible studies at the Kiwanis Club in Pleasant Grove. A few years later, land became available in Lindon and much prayer went into whether to pursue and pray over this land as the future home of Fellowship Bible Church. God made it abundantly clear to the Bagley’s that 375 N. State St. in Lindon was where God wanted them to build a Church. God was faithful to provide the land and the building and the Church began worshipping in what is now our Fellowship Hall.

From the very beginning the desire was to proclaim the name of Jesus, teach the Bible in a way that people could understand, and have a ministry focused on helping each person grow in their walk with God. That tiny seed of faith in the very beginning has grown into a fruitful, growing, life-changing church where many have experienced the grace of God in fresh ways.
Though the church has grown and the dreams are big, the focus is intentionally small – impacting people with the shocking, life-changing grace of Jesus one life at a time. July of 2018 marked 30 years of Fellowship Bible Church, but the story has only just begun to unfold.
As the Church grew in number, and space was becoming quite an issue, much prayer went into God providing a larger building to be able to continue to make an impact in this valley. Well, long story short, God went above and beyond all we could ask, think, or imagine and provided our current building, which was built in 2013.
A guiding principle through all the years has been that the Church wouldn’t operate like a business, but would continually stress the importance of faith, trusting in God to bless and provide for our ministry. God has been faithful to us as a Church. God provided through the generosity of the Body of Christ across the world.
Since moving into our new home, the Church has gone through many difficult transitions, but the sustaining faithfulness and grace of God has been on display. In the 31 years of operation, Fellowship Bible Church has had four Senior Pastors (Bill Bagley, Bill Bagley Jr., Mike Tharp, and Chad Johnson). Throughout the course of the past 31 years, many people have walked through the FBC doors. Many have grown spiritually and moved to different parts of the world. Many have been sent out by the Church as missionaries across the world. Many have come to know Jesus, grown spiritually, served faithfully, given generously, and loved selflessly at Fellowship Bible Church.

EXPANDING THE VISION...

Over the course of the last 2 years, we have grown in attendance, brand new ministries have been launched, and overall excitement about the future of FBC is very high. Through all the highs and lows, our worship has not ceased, the Bible has been faithfully proclaimed, new leadership has been raised up and appointed, and lives have been changed by the Gospel.
Our prayer will continue to be that He would use us more and more as a Church that continues to glorify Him in seeking to produce more and more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. May we never rely on ourselves, but always remember to do everything “by faith”.
As Fellowship Bible Church has grown, we set out in 2020 to raise the necessary funds to install an elevator and finish the balcony (Phase 2 of the Building Project). By God's grace and the generosity of God's people, we are now in position to install the elevator and finish the balcony, which will provide increased seating capacity. That's a big blessing to us, as we seek to produce more and more fully devoted followers of Jesus.

WHERE WE ARE HEADED...
One of our guiding core values is that we will always be driven by the mindset that the best is yet to come, not behind us. God has been faithful and will continue to be faithful, as He works in and through the ministry of Fellowship Bible Church. Where are we headed?
We will never deviate from our commitment to the Word of God as the ultimate authority for who we are and what we're about as a Church. The authority of the written Word of God, and the victory of the Living Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ serve as the foundational pieces that have always been the bedrock since the very beginning as a local Church.
At Fellowship Bible Church, you can expect us to open our Bibles to learn and open our lives to love. Not perfectly, but is and will always remain the heart of who we are, what we're about, and what we do. At Fellowship Bible Church, we'd love for you to find a place to be a part of the gathering and connect in life-giving relationships.
