I'M NEW

We're so glad you're here!

WELCOME

Fellowship Bible Church  is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

SUNDAY MORNINGS

When? 10:30-12:00 pm

Where? Fellowship Bible Church - 375 North State Street, Lindon, UT 84042

What?  The worship service is FBC's  front door and highest priority. We labor to produce gospel-proclaiming, Jesus-centered worship services where life-change is expected.

WHAT TO EXPECT

So you’re considering visiting our church for the first time (or maybe you've been coming for a bit now)? Visiting a new church can be a nerve-wracking experience for a variety of reasons. You probably have some questions and maybe even a few worries. One of them is just not knowing what to expect when you visit. This page is our best attempt to help you know exactly what you’re walking into before you arrive.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Nope. A good rule of thumb is “come as you are” and wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you like jeans and a t-shirt, you’ll fit right in. Prefer flip-flops, cargo shorts, and a hoodie? No problem. What if you’re a bit more formal and want to wear a jacket and tie? No problem. Most people dress casually, but the bottom line is that we care a lot more about who you are than what you wear, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Be you.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
As we continue to grow, we are making people aware that we are able to use the Los Hermanos restaurant parking lot just to the North of us as parking on Sunday mornings. If you drive in, and our parking seems tight, just head into their lot to find additional parking spots.

AFTER I PARK, HOW DO I GET TO THE SERVICE?
Well, you’ve got to get out of the car first. We’ll leave that to you. You will notice that we have two buildings. Our classes and worship service are all in the bigger, new building. Once you arrive, you’ll probably encounter some volunteer hosts at the door to welcome you. They’re there to help you get where you need to get, whether that means taking your kids to the children’s ministry classes or walking directly to the auditorium. They can also help you find some coffee and snacks.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY KIDS?
Remember the last time your kids asked for permission to sit still for an hour? Yeah, we don’t remember that either. That’s why we’ve invested a lot of time and resources into creating fun and age-appropriate environments for your kids to hear about God. So if you’re bringing your kids with you to services, you should check out our safe and secure programs designed just for kids (Nursery through 4th Grade). If you can swing it, you might want to arrive about 10-15 minutes before the service so you won’t feel rushed when you first check them in. And if you want to keep your children with you during service, that's totally ok too!

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SERVICE?
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of upbeat contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team and hear thought-provoking, practical, and engaging messages based on the Bible. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

WILL I BE SINGLED OUT IF I'M NEW?
Absolutely not! You’re our guest and that would be a horrible thing to do to you. Plus, every Sunday we have lots of people just like you who are checking out Fellowship Bible Church for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible, which means we won’t single you out in any way.

I’M NOT SURE THAT I’M SOLD ON THIS CHURCH THING. IS IT STILL OKAY FOR ME TO ATTEND?
Yes, absolutely. We believe that it’s okay to go ahead and kick the tires of church a little bit while you’re here. You might have some pretty big questions that you’re wrestling with, and we believe that God is big enough to handle that. Our church family is motivated by a love for God and love for one another because life is all about relationships. Our hope is to encourage you in your relationship with God no matter where you are on your journey with Him. You can have questions, doubts, hurts and pains and you’re still always welcome.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SERVICE IS OVER?
There’s quite a lot happening after service, actually. You’ll find that some people will hang out for a while to chat, have coffee, and talk with friends. There are also some people available to pray with you if that’s something you’d like to do. (Of course, if you checked your kids into the children’s ministry classes, you’re going to want to pick them up at some point as well!) The bottom line is that you can spend some time to get to know people and hang out a little bit.

IS THAT IT?
Yeah, that’s pretty much it. But if you’ve got more questions, drop us a line at contactus@fbclindon.org
